About the Book
SelfLESS PRIDE is a raw and deeply honest memoir that weaves personal experience with cultural reflection and hard-won wisdom. As a gay, Muslim, Arab-American, the author faces a maze of expectations, shame, and silence—both internal and external. Grappling with mental health, identity, and the search for truth, this book explores what it means to live authentically in a world that demands you choose between parts of yourself.
Through vulnerability and reflection, SelfLESS PRIDE invites readers into the author’s journey toward wholeness—not perfection. Part memoir, part self-help guide, it offers not only a window into the complexities of faith, family, and queerness, but also a lifeline to anyone struggling to feel seen, accepted, and enough.
This is a story about surviving, searching, and slowly learning that pride isn’t the opposite of humility—it’s the beginning of healing.
